Reverse Engineering - Aircraft tools "out of production"
AFEA was contracted to provide Chief services to an aviation contractor organization. The diverse support requirements included the need to fabricate new tools from older ones that were no longer available.
Gas Turbine Lifting Tool
AFEA was contracted to develop a lightweight lifting tool to service small field-based gas turbines. This picture documents a test exercise with a protoype that an AFEA team designed, produced fabrication drawings, fabrciated, tested, and documented.
